We have used our experience and expertise to develop the Adult Social Care Subscription with Learning Pool. The 11 modules in the subscription address the two major challenges facing adult social care. Firstly the need to meet the severe economic pressures facing the UK and secondly the transformation of adult social care to a transparent and equitable service that offers improved opportunities and outcomes to individuals through personalised services.

A well trained workforce is not only key to implementing and embedding change but also contributes to the effective management of resources. The adult social care subscription focuses on the relationship between good practice and efficient and equitable use of resources. Our core subscription follows the customer pathway and provides an overview for practitioners and an awareness of the interdependencies that exist in the different aspects of the customer pathway.

Ophira and Learning Pool can work with you to customise your Adult Social Care Subscription. This will enable you to modify the modules and make them specific to your organisation. We can help you maximise the learning opportunities provided through the subscription by assisting you to link national and local policies and processes to appropriate points within each module.

The subscription will be kept current and relevant with two refreshes a year. In addition we will be adding additional modules an on annual basis. In 2010 the subscription contains the following modules:
