The London Borough of Bexley was cited as an example of good practice for their adult social care transformation programme by the Centre for Public Scrutiny who worked with the IDeA, the Improvement and Development Agency for local government to produce a toolkit and guide designed to help Overview and Scrutiny Committees (OSCs) carry out their scrutiny work on health, healthcare and social care. Ophira were commissioned to design and implement the Change Programme in Bexley and the subsequent Securing Excellence programme that embedded personalisation in Bexley. Click here for more>>

Ophira have secured further work with the London Borough of Bexley. Ophira will be supporting the council to complete the transformation to self directed support in social care. This will see customers of social care within Bexley being offered a budget to tailor their support.
